I receive the AlumNOTES for Summer 2018 today and noticed that Richard Cartwright died on January 14, 2018. I search the Mirror Obituary and found the following obituary.

Richard R. Cartwright, 75, Altoona, died Sunday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Rollen C. and Gertrude G. (McCoy) Cartwright. Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Blass; a grandson; a sister, Carol; and a brother, John. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene J. (Rupp) Cartwright; and a brother, Wayne. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service. Interment will take place privately. Arrangements are by Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville.
