Frank John DeLeo III (81) of New Port Richey, Florida, died Friday, January 19, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1942 to the late Frank John DeLeo II and Betty Jane Bisignano. He grew up as a part of two large families, with half siblings on both sides. He graduated from Altoona High School and began a career in construction, where he worked in many different fields of specialty over the decades. As an adult, he relocated to Florida, where he helped build Creative Concrete and Excavating with family friends. He continued his career there as a construction foreman until his retirement in 2013.

Frank enjoyed life to the fullest, and could often be found shooting pool, playing poker, or betting on horse races. He was proud of his Italian heritage and his Pennsylvania roots, remaining a staunch supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions until his passing. However, his greatest pride in life was his family. The most meaningful gift that he gave to his children was the gift of each other, imparting to them the importance of family and encouraging their relationships with each other, despite geographical distance. Becoming a grandfather was a life-changing experience for him, which gave him a new outlook on what it meant to be a father. His grandchildren were his entire world, and his legacy will live on through them.

Frank is survived by his four loving children, Debbie Steiner (Kevin), Larry DeLeo (Beth), Roman DeLeo (Michele), and Kristin Price (Jason); his six grandchildren, Jimi, Amber, Vincent, Katie, Jason Jr., and Dominic; and his six great-grandchildren, Keegan, Carter, Sam, Carson, Silas, and Elias. He is also survived by his siblings and siblings-in-law, April and Bill Reighard, Judy and George Savine, Mickey and Dave Behe, Michael and Brenda DeLeo, Richard DeLeo, Marc DeLeo, Paulette and Donald Clark, and David and Jeannie Eichenlaub. He was preceded in death by his eldest son Frank John DeLeo IV.
