Harold and Family:   I have this poem by my grandmothers picture.  Hugs, prayers. love and strength for you, Becky, Amy, and Mary Lee.

by James Whitcomb Riley

I cannot say and I will not say
That she is dead, she is just away.
With a cheery smile and a wave of hand
She has wandered into an unknown land;
And left us dreaming how very fair
Its needs must be, since she lingers there.

And you–oh you, who the wildest yearn
From the old-time step and the glad return–
Think of her faring on, as dear
In the love of there, as the love of here
Think of her still the same way, I say;
She is not dead, she is just away.

Dear Harold and family. I was so very sorry to hear of Ginny's passing. It has been wonderful seeing both of you at the last few reunions. I always remember the good times we had in High School. Ginny and I worked together on the yearbook.  Our love and prayers to you and the family. I will always remember how loving and kind Ginny has been. Reading on Facebook, I can see what a wonderful family you have.

It has been a long, difficult journey.  My sympathies to the whole "Team Stitt".  To know Ginny, was to love her.  Her earthly journey has been completed, leaving us all with heart ache, but.knowing her pain is gone. We rejoice in the memories she gave us all.. Peace and Grace.

Dear Harold,  It was great seeing you both at the reunion and having lunch that last day. My prayers are with you and your girls for grace, peace and for the Lord to carry you through this time!  And Virginia....you've finally arrived sweet girl, dancing in the arms of Jesus.  What a beautiful picture.  Blessings to you all! Hey JoAnn, each time we chalk up another year, it somehow seems like we are beating the system. Please keep beating the crap out of the system. Have a great birthday, Harold Stitt.

Barbara, it is still your birthday in Alabama with 20 minutes to go. On your clock, we hope you had a very nice day and wish you a great year until this time rolls around again and again and again for a very long time. Harold and Virginia Stitt.

Bill, as we get older and remember the things that we did as kids a couple of things come to mind. Specifically how we taunted Herb Bodorick and how we would raid Ginny Strohm's grandmother's garden for kohlrabi's and drop leaves all the way to Louie Pruzneck's house hoping he would catch the blame. The moral to this story is we need to knock this crap off, we can't run as fast we used to. We wish you a very happy birthday and remember each year at this time you will be getting a little slower on the feet and need to consider this before you attempt rip off some old lady's kohlrabis and get away with it.
