Yes! Attending Reunion

After graduating from Penn State I began teaching 3rd grade in Altoona at Penn Lincoln. During this time I completed my Masters degree from Pitt in Library Science. Then I became a school Librarian in Abington, near Philly Bill and I were married after he completed his Masters at Temple. (by the way he also taught in Altoona at Logan.) We moved to Bethlehem, had Myles and I began teaching in Easton. After 34 years I retired but almost immediately went to work at our local library. Retired again after my grandaughter was born.We enjoy traveling, crafting camping , Renaissanse faires, cruising. I love to read. I also sing with our local Sweet Adeline Chorus, which has held 1st place small chorus and 6th place medals.

School Story:

I remember in Elementary School at Lincoln in 4th or 56th grade we had the top floor of the school and access to the storage room. We put on plays and even had some animal visitors in the classroom. Specifically a skunk ( even had my picture taken with Lester McCool for the newspaper.

I also remember Lester from Lincoln Elementary and the time we spent the neighborhood on 7th avenue. I specially remember 5th grade on the top floor and the special activities. I recently received a copy of our picture from the newspaper with our teachers pet skunk.

Hi Donna, I often think about you especially when I get to Altoona and drive past the park on the way to the mall. Not often any more since my family is pretty much gone now, It doesn't seem like 57 years ago that we were in school. I really wished that I had been able to make the last reunion but my husband Bill was very ill and not expected to last very ong. I hope you are doing well and enjoying this past years. Would love to hear from you. Are you on Facebook.. Friend me! Or just write

A belated Happy Birthday. Had trouble getting in. Forgot my password. I hate passwords.
Some sad news. I don't know whether you heard or not. Bill passed away on June 26th in hospice. He had declined very quickly after discovery of Cancer while he was also on Dialysis. It was too much for him. A blessing. he died on his mother's birthday.

I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing.  Although we are not related except by her mother's sister marring my uncle ,i have always thought of her as a cousin.  As children we spent a lot of time together.  We recently only saw each other at reunions or some family events and I have lost touch with her family.  I wish I would like her home address to send a note to her family.  Why is it I am just now hearing of this?  I guess I must check the site more often.

Winnie was such a bubbly personality that it is hard to think about her not being here.  I wasn't close to her , but always remember what a nice girl she was.  She always had kind words and friendly responsees toward me.

She will be missed by all.
