I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dick Hess.He and I were Acolytes at Temple Lutheran Church during our high school years and Dick’s wife June was the organist there for many years.We also had the love of Baseball too.If there was a nicer guy in our high school class than Dick Hess I wouldn’t know whom it was. Rest In Peace.

TODD and I were close friends most of our lives.Late in life Todd's Dad and my Mom lived together until my Mom passed in Sept. 1989.We also lived one block apart and worked at the PRR.Rest In Peace,Todd.

Ron and I were best friends almost from birth as our parents were also best friends.We had a gang of about 10 of our classmates with Ron always in the center of all our activities.After he and Gail divorced we saw or heard very little from him over the years.Rest In Peace my friend.

My good friend Paul once yelled out " Here comes the worst Pony League ballplayer I ever played against "as I entered the room at an Altoona reunion in Florida.He loved to razz me about my 13 year old baseball ability.Later we played against each other in Ward ball and stayed best of friends forever.I'm sure you'll enjoy your Heavenly Life as much as your life here on Earth.May you Rest In Peace.

Hope you have a great 81st Birthday on June 30th.You and Dickie DeNicola are my only two HS locker mates left,so stay healthy as possible in the near future.

I new Harold from school and playing against him in Ward baseball.But until I read his obituary I never was aware that he was a Vietnam War hero.He and Ginny led such a full life and are now reunited in Heaven.GOD bless you Harold and thank you for your Service.

Let me be the first to say how sorry I am to read of Jerry’s passing.Probably the most well known and popular man in our large class,Jerry was always a true friend and will remain in my memory forever.May you Rest in Eternal Peace.
