Sandra K Lee (Martin)

I am so sorry to hear about Winnie passing. Not only were we friends in school but we also worked together at Bell Telephone. We had a lot of fun together and even went with some girls from work to Wildwood one summer for a weekend. We drove all night and slept on the beach until our hotel room was available and I got a terrible sunburn. Our deepest sympathy to John and her son. Sandy (Lee) and Eddie Martin

Winnie was such a bubbly personality that it is hard to think about her not being here.  I wasn't close to her , but always remember what a nice girl she was.  She always had kind words and friendly responsees toward me.

She will be missed by all.

So sorry to hear of Winnie passing.  My sympathy to her family.  She will be missed.  We were classmates since Elementary School.  We lived exactly two blocks from each other and walked to Lincoln School together every day.  She will be missed.  She was also a majorette so we have gone back along time. She was always so friendly and always had a great time with her.  Haven't seen her in a couple of years but memories will be with me forever.  Prayers to her family.

Too many, too many, but it's really sad to think of Winnie being gone.  We'd been friends since 1st grade as we lived in the same neighborhood (she, near 3rd Ave. & 15th St.; I, near 3rd Ave. & 19th St.) and walked together to Emerson School.  Nancy Shuffstall lived up the block; Gloria DeBiase down the block.  Linda Urbinato nearby on 4th Ave.  (Further down, Patty Spagnola, Sharon Rubin and Olga Orr......)  Lots of playdates at Winifred's house.  (She went by her more formal name then.)  Lots of her visiting my rambunctious household.  We weren't as close in high school, but the childhood memories are gripping.  Rest in peace, Winifred.

I am so overwhelmed at Winnie's passing.  Just ran into her a few months ago and she was as kind and beautiful as ever.  My deepest sympathy to John and family.  She will make a great angel.
