So sorry to hear of Jim's passing.  He was one of my best childhood friends.   We grew up together on 21st Ave in Fairview about a block apart and played on the streets and in the backyards and fields there as well as each other's homes, from elementry through high school  and played in the bands at Keith and AHS. Lots of long walks home from school together lugging our books and instruments.  Jim's trombone was bigger and heavier than my clarinet and we laughed a lot.  Many good times and memories. Wish we'd kept in better touch over the years.

My deepest sympathy to Jim's wife Barbara and to his children and grandchildren.  Rest in peace old friend.
