Regis J Byrnes

I am sorry to announce another death, but it is from 2008.  We were working on the mailing for our next reunion today when Judy (Servello) Clendenin came across Regis J Byrnes envelope.  She said I believe he is deceased and has been for a long time.  So I did some research and found that he had died on March 7, 2008.

The following  was the obituary that was in the "Times" newspaper in Industry PA.

Regis J. Byrnes, 66, of Industry, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday morning, March 7, 2008 in The Medical Center, Beaver.

Born Nov. 28, 1941, he was a son of the late Albert and Rose Byrnes and had been a resident of Industry the past 15 years. He retired after over 20 years from the marketing department of IBM in Pittsburgh and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. His greatest passion in life was his family and his love of horses. He also enjoyed antiques.

He will be sadly missed by two daughters, Michelle Cogar, Imperial, and Kristen Lalley, Oakdale; four cherished grandchildren, Tanner and Trevor Cogar, and Cassidy and Lauren Lalley; a brother and sister-in-law, Brendan and Karen Byrnes, a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ray Smith, all of Altoona, and his longtime friend, Gary Frye, Industry.
